Working days calculator
Count the working days between two dates in Ireland, leaving out weekends and public holidays, or find the date a number of working days from now.
Working days are counted Monday to Friday, less Irish public holidays. Your employer, contract or a court or agency may count days differently, so check the rules that apply to your deadline. Terms of use.

How working days are counted
Every Monday to Friday between the two dates counts as a working day, unless it is a public holiday or a weekday off in lieu of a holiday that fell on a weekend. Saturdays and Sundays never count. Easter Monday moves each year with Easter, which is worked out from the date of the first full moon after the spring equinox.
Example. October 2026 has 31 days, of which 9 are Saturdays and Sundays. The October bank holiday is Mon 26 October, which leaves 21 working days. Five working days after Wed 23 December is Mon 4 January, because the Christmas and New Year holidays are skipped.
